For Single Adults ages 27+ and their children of all ages
Join us and be inspired! It's a weekend packed with fun sights, sounds, activities and adventures. On Sunday, you'll enjoy uplifting Sunday services in a beautiful mountain setting.
AT THIS TIME WE CAN HAVE COOK FIRES (SMALL FIRES NO LARGE FIRES) IN APPROVED FIRE RINGS. No one should make their own fire ring! They must have a 5 gal. bucket of water, a shovel and an adult attending the fire at all times. If everyone leaves the fire for any amount of time it must be put out, cold to the touch. As you are probably aware there have been several large fires in this part of the state so authorities are very sensitive and on the watch for illegal campfires.
--Youth to lead music in Young Men, Young Women, and the Youth Fireside
--Spanish Translation--for Sunday services and other times throughout the weekend
--Support Staff for climbing wall, archery and tomahawk throw
--Guides for Trust Walk Friday night
Service Project Donation Information:
Elder Christensen (area authority) has participated in establishing an orphanage in Haiti after the devastating earthquake a few years ago. Download the newsletter at the bottom of this page to learn more. His organization supports not only the 20 children he has in the orphanage but it also does a great deal for the surrounding community. The orphanage is approved by the Haitian government and is a registered non-profit here in the US.
The children's ages range from 4 to 18 and the oldest just received his mission call to Atlanta Georgia. At Ensign Ranch this year, we are collecting needed items for the orphanage (for example, shoes) and also putting together projects (possibly a garden project) and packets for the kids. We would also like to set up an opportunity to write the kids letters. They love having pen pals so they can practice their English. We are also thinking about Skyping them while we are at the Ranch. There is only a three hour time difference. Maybe even during Primary so the kids can all sing a Primary song together. Lots of fun ideas and ways to help out this year!
Your $5 (or more) donation on the registration form will help us get the items needed to support the orphanage. We thank you for your generosity!
DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE RANCH UNLESS THEY ARE SERVICE ANIMALS. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE INFORMATION REGARDING SERVICE ANIMALS.
